Fetch Branding: Instantly Apply Your Brand to Any Email Signature

Fetch Branding in Signature Hound automatically applies your logo, colours, and contact details to your email signature — from your website, a file, or the gallery.

Setting up a professional email signature used to mean spending time in the Design tab — picking colours, choosing fonts, uploading a logo, and hoping it all matched your brand. Fetch Branding removes that friction entirely.

With Fetch Branding, Signature Hound automatically pulls your brand assets and applies them to your signature in seconds. No design decisions required.

In this guide:

Fetch Branding from your Website

The quickest way to brand your signature is to let Signature Hound scan your website. Enter your URL, click Fetch Branding, and the tool scans your site for:

  • Logo — pulled directly from your site’s header or metadata
  • Brand colours — primary and accent colours detected from your stylesheet
  • Contact details — address, phone number, and email if publicly listed
  • Social media links — any social profiles linked from your site

Once fetched, a live preview updates in real time on the right side of the screen. If everything looks right, click Save Branding to apply it to your signature. You can also click Clear Branding to start over.

How to use it
  1. Open your signature in Signature Hound and go to Business Info.
  2. Click the Fetch Branding button at the top of the panel.
  3. Select the From Website tab.
  4. Enter your website URL (e.g. https://yourdomain.com).
  5. Click Fetch Branding and review the preview.
  6. Click Save Branding to apply.

Best for: Businesses with a live website that already reflects their current brand identity.

Fetch Branding from a File

Don’t have a website, or want to use a specific brand asset rather than what’s on your site? Upload a file instead. Signature Hound accepts images (PNG, JPG, WebP) and PDF files — such as a brand style guide, letterhead, or marketing material.

The tool analyses the uploaded file and extracts:

  • Brand colours — dominant and accent colours from the design
  • Typography cues — font style hints where detectable

This is particularly useful if your website is under construction, uses a generic template, or doesn’t fully reflect your brand guidelines.

How to use it
  1. Open your signature and go to Business Info.
  2. Click Fetch Branding, then select the From File tab.
  3. Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click to browse.
  4. Click Fetch Branding and review the preview.
  5. Click Save Branding to apply.

Best for: Businesses with a brand style guide, agencies setting up signatures for clients, or anyone whose website doesn’t reflect their current branding.

Tips for Best Results

From Website
  • Use your primary domain (e.g. https://yourdomain.com) rather than a subpage — the homepage typically has the most complete brand signals.
  • If your site uses a CDN or is behind a login, the fetch may return partial results. In that case, try the From File method instead.
From File
  • A brand style guide PDF or a clean letterhead gives the best results.
  • Files with a white or light background make colour extraction more accurate.
From Gallery
  • Gallery presets are a great starting point — after applying, you can swap out the colours in the Design tab to match your exact brand hex values.
  • The font applied by a gallery preset can be changed at any time in the Design tab without losing the colour settings.
